Albert J. Hartman, 61, Quinter, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

He was born Jan. 21, 1951, in Quinter to Lawrence and Johanna (Selensky) Hartman. He attended college at St. Thomas Seminary, Denver, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park.

He worked for the city of Colorado Springs as a utility purchasing agent.

Survivors include a son, Michael Hartman and wife, Desiree, Bremerton, Wash.; two daughters, Raelene Shelly and husband, Paul Granahan, Denver, and Amy Hartman, Lander, Wyo.; three brothers, Elmer Hartman and wife, LaVerna, Lakewood, Colo., James Hartman and wife, Carol, Park, and Robert Hartman and wife, Kathy, Grainfield; a sister-in-law, Rose Marie Hartman, Grainfield; and five grandchildren, Joe Shelly Jr., Ayden Hartman, and Kyle, Nate and Alex Granahan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lorraine Hartman; and four brothers, Douglas, Ralph, Delmar and Frank.

Cremation was chosen; a private family burial is planned.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Coventry Farms in Littleton, Colo., in care of Baalmann Mortuary, P.O. Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
