Alfred 'Bud' Wallace

Alfred "Bud" Wallace, 87, Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

He was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Westboro, Mo., to George Washington and Iva Marie (Starling) Wallace.

He owned and operated a service station in Agra for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite, of the home; two daughters, Connie Hanke, Phillipsburg, and Peggy Toler, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Norman Wallace, Virginia; a sister, Marsha Smith, Goodland; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, with military honors by the U.S. Navy.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services Inc. in care of the funeral home.
