Alice Lucena Field, 79, Almena, died Saturday, June 27, 2009.
She was born Jan. 15, 1930, in Almena to Daniel J. and Elsie C. (Wilner) Rundell. She was a 1943 graduate of School District No. 44 in rural Norton County, a 1947 graduate of Almena Rural High School and 1949 graduate of Fort Hays State University.
She married Julius C. Field on June 23, 1957. She helped with the farming. Survivors include five children, J.C. Field, J.B. Field, Marlit Thiele, Dan Field and Gene Field; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Norton Christian Church; burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Almena.
Friends can call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Enfield Funeral Home, Norton.
Memorials are suggested to Norton Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
