Alma Gipe

Alma Gipe, 93, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Salina Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 28, 1919, in Phillips County to Herman and Lydia (Murphy) Dusin.

Survivors include four sons, Dean, Salina, Ronald, Hutchinson, Dannie, Jefferson City, Mo., and John, Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Alta Nichol, Lindsborg; a brother, Alvin Dusin, Kersey, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gipe; and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City.
