Alta Mae (Brown) Jamison, 82, Hoxie, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Sheridan County Health Complex, Hoxie.
She was born July 5, 1930, in Valley, Okla., to Bert and Pearl Jane (Hamon) Brown.
She married Elvin E. Jamison on Aug. 18, 1951. He preceded her in death May 2, 2002.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Jamison, Buda, Texas; a daughter, Pamela Popp, Quinter; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Studley; burial in Baker Township, Quinter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
Memorials are suggested to Sheridan County Health Complex-Long Term Care or Gideons International in care of the funeral home.
