Andrea Arlene Scott, 37, Olathe, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 27, 1975, in Hill City to Leland "Pete" and Patty Scott. She attended Decatur Community High School in Oberlin and Colby Community College, where she received her associate's degree in science.

She was an insurance underwriter in Olathe.

Survivors include her parents, Basehor; a sister, Nicole Smith; and grandmother, Alvina Knight.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donovan Knight, Roy Scott and Dale and Georgia Curl.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Stockton.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mosher-Kemp Family Funeral Home, 320 S.W. Second, Plainville, KS 67663.

Memorials are suggested to Cancer Action at www.canceractionkc.org or 10520 Barkley, Ste. 100, Overland Park, KS 66212, or donations of blood can be given to any local American Red Cross.
