Anita M. Huelsmann, 70, Grinnell, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
She was born April 2, 1942, in Quinter to Chester and Reba (Schroeder) Gormley. She attended grade school and high school in Grinnell and business college in Omaha, Neb.
She married Charles Huelsmann on April 20, 1979, in Grinnell. She was owner and operator of Crownover Insurance Agency for many years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar Society. She was president of the Grinnell High School Alumni Association, secretary of the Grinnell Cow Pattie Golf Club, active in the Grinnell Pride Committee and sold Watkins for many years.
She enjoyed camping, watching all kinds of sports, taking care of her garden and yard, and always took special interest in her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Jerry Gormley and wife, Jeanie, Grinnell; a sister, Judy Hartman and husband, Roger, Arvada, Colo.; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepbrother, Herman Struckhoff; and a special brother, Randy Struckhoff.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Grinnell.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the center.
