Anna P. Rankin, 89, Corsica, Pa., formerly of Hays, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.

She was born May 28, 1922, in Corsica to Fred and Maude (Haggerty) Glenn.

She married Arthur Rankin on Sept. 10, 1942, in Reynoldsville, Pa. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Hadley Hospital Volunteers, all of Hays.

Survivors include two sisters, Lois Glenn and Thelma Glenn, both of DuBois, Pa,; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dale Rankin; two brothers, Paul and Harry Glenn; and three sisters, Bernice Smith, Carolyn Wachob and Wilta Lasher.

Service will be at a later date; private inurnment will be in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.
