Archie Dean Moss, 82, Hoxie, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at his home.

He was born May 17, 1931, in Hoxie to John Hubert and Margaret May (Loy) Moss.

He married JoAnn (Neal) Moss on July 1, 1951, in Hoxie. She preceded him in death April 21, 1999. He later married Janet (Bird) Moss on June 3, 2005, in Hoxie.

Survivors include his wife, Hoxie; two sons, Rick Moss and wife, Audrey, and Don Moss and wife, Diahn, all of Hoxie; two step-sons, Doug Kaba and wife, Jana, Paso Robles, Calif., and Steve Kaba and wife, Debby, Paxico; two daughters, Sheila Krannawitter and husband, Richard, Colby, and Pam Erwin and husband, Jim, Hoxie; a stepdaughter, Wilinda Harmon and husband, Greg, Fairview, Okla.; a sister, Ruth Hartman, Fort Collins, Colo.; 12 grandchildren, Aaron Krannawitter, Tara Woofter, Kim Shea, Mick Moss, Joe Moss, Josh Moss, Jeremiah Moss, Kevin Moss, Kayla Moss, Tim Erwin and Amber Erwin; seven step-grandchildren, Rhys Kaba, Taylor Kaba, Clayton Kaba, Kami Kaba, Eric Schmidt, Brendon Schmidt and Cale Harmon.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hoxie Christian Church; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m Wednesday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to Hoxie Christian Church, Sheridan County EMS or Sheridan County Hospital in care of the funeral home.
