Austin Myles Scales, 18, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

He was born Oct. 3, 1991, in Phillipsburg. He was a student at Cloud County Community College.

Survivors include his parents, Steve and Kaye Roy, Stockton, and Michael Scales, California; two sisters, Ashley Schlyer, Hays, and Jenna Milander, Laurel, Neb.; a brother, Patrick Scales, Omaha, Neb.; his grandparents, John Sullivam, Logan, Cecil and Patti Roy, Stockton, Sharon Book, Mountain Home, Ark., Ray and Karen Scott, Centennial, Colo., and Donna Bunnell, Alma, Neb.; his great-grandparents, Alberta Scott, Montrose, Colo., and Gerald and Vula Gager, Plainville.

Services will at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Logan Christian Church; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Logan Funeral Home, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
