Barbara 'Barb' Farber

Barbara "Barb" Farber, 50, WaKeeney, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

She was born Feb. 22, 1963, in Hoxie to James Elbert and Rosa Lea (Trail) Fabrizius.

She married Jim "Smitty" Smith.

Survivors include her husband, WaKeeney; her mother; three brothers, Jeffrey, Hastings, Neb., Lance Fabrizius, Independence, and Luke Fabrizius, Manhattan; and a sister, Beverly Heim, Hoxie.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.

Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Walk-A-Thon for Health, Locks of Love, or KSU Foundation (pet tribute) in care of funeral home.
