Bernard 'Bernie' Kerbaugh

Bernard "Bernie" Kerbaugh, 52, Elk City, Okla., formerly of Hill City, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his home.

He was born Nov. 2, 1960, in WaKeeney to Rex Orrin and Delores Ann (Geist) Kerbaugh.

He married Bonnie Garrison on May 9, 1981, in Hill City. He was a production foreman in the oil field.

Survivors include his wife, Elk City; a son, Jacob Kerbaugh, Stillwater, Okla.; a daughter, Robyn M. Kerbaugh, Elk City; his parents, Hill City; his grandmother, Anna Geist, WaKeeney; two brothers, Kenneth J. Kerbaugh, Tonganoxie, and James Kerbaugh, Hill City; and three sisters, Kathy VanPelt, Salina, Karen Pfeifer, Springfield, Va., and Tracey Herman, WaKeeney.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.

A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Masses or Toys for Tots in care of the funeral home.
