Bill Meek, 84, Liberal, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at Kansas Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born Sept. 7, 1928, in Winnipeg, Canada, to Bill and Fannie (Conley) Meek. He was a graduate of Stafford High School and attended University of Kansas and Fort Hays State University.

He married Anna Lee House on Sept. 22, 1949, in Hays. He was a salesman for Smith Tool Co.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, David Meek, Kingwood, Bill Meek and Kevin Meek, both of Liberal, and Gary Meek, Moore, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death his twin sons, David Lee and Gary Lynn.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Faith Tabernacle, Liberal; burial at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brenneman Funeral Home, Liberal.

Memorials can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care the funeral home.
