Bill Murphy, 83, Phillipsburg, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

He was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Norton to Thomas and Mayme (Youngs) Murphy.

He worked at CRA Refinery in Phillipsburg for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; two sons, Ron Murphy, Littleton, Colo., and Rod Murphy, Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Dian Hanchett, Phillipsburg, and Renee Goodwin, Andover, N.H.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Selden Cemetery.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
