Blossom Hutchcraft

Blossom Hutchcraft, 92, Midlothian, Texas, formerly of Natoma, Plainville, Highland and Derby, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Waxahachie, Texas.

She was born Aug. 25, 1915, in rural Waldo to Gilbert and Grace (Winder) Elliott. She was a 1933 graduate of Paradise High School.

She married L. Edward Hutchcraft on June 25, 1936, in Russell. He preceded her in death March 26, 1987. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Theodore E., Highland, and Douglas E., Greeley; two daughters, Marlene D. Phillips, Mulvane, and Delores A. Hocker, Midlothian; a brother, W. Keith Elliott, Natoma; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-grandson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Herman Cemetery, near Paradise.

Memorials are suggested to Libraries of Love or Scottish Rite Hospital in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
