Bonita Ann 'Bonnie' (Benjamin) Thomason

Bonita Ann "Bonnie" (Benjamin) Thomason, 74, Nashville, Tenn., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Alive Hospice, Madison, Tenn.

She was born Sept. 17, 1938, in Miltonvale to Leo and Lila (Thompson) Benjamin. She was a 1956 graduate of Clay Center Community High School.

She worked for GEICO Insurance until her retirement in 2003 She served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy, Nashville, Angela Rosier, Concord, N.C. and Katrina Thomason, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Francis Benjamin, Chico, Calif.; a sister, Belinda Knipp; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel, Clay Center; burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Alive Hospice or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
