Boyd Tuttle

Boyd Tuttle, 77, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

He was born March 28, 1936, in rural Quinter to Albert and Mary Tuttle. He attended the Hackberry School, Rural District No. 14 and was a 1954 graduate of Quinter High School.

He was a farmer/rancher in Gove County. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany.

Survivors include his wife, of 52 years, Judith Tuttle; three sons, Craig Tuttle, Troy Tuttle and Derek Tuttle; a daughter, Myrna Craig; two brothers, Robert Tuttle and Mahlon Tuttle; a sister, Marita Hill; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gove Community Bible Church.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
