She was born Jan. 3, 1932, near Park to Pius and Anna N. (Lovenstein) Waldman. She was a 1949 graduate of Park High School.
She married Donald Burgardt on Jan. 22, 1951, in Park. He preceded her in death June 6, 1988. She owned and operated Lorena’s Beauty Shop for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Don, Clairmore, Okla., and David, Park; a daughter, Cynthia Keller, Quinter; three brothers, Pius, Oklahoma City, Delbert, Denver, and Linus, Iola; two sisters, Delores Zimmerman, Hastings, Neb., and Irene Bechard, Scottsdale, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mick.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
