Phyllis G. Caines, 76, Colby, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita.

She was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Whittlesay, England.

She was a certified nurses aide at Citizens Medical Center, Colby.

Survivors include her husband, Peter Caines, of the home; three daughters, Deborah Repshire, McDonald, Hazel Westheimer, Irmo, S.C., and Jeniffer Wolters, Oberlin; a brother, Walter Smart, Peterborgh, England; a sister, Katherine Fordham, Sommersham, England; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Kersenbrock Funeral Chapel, Colby; burial in Beulah Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday, both at the chapel.

Memorials are to be designated at a later date in care of the chapel.
