Edna Lena Capstick, 94, formerly of Norton, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler.

She was born July 13, 1919, in Phillips County to George and Leva (Reno) Ray.

She owned and operated a beauty shop in Norton for many years.

Survivors include a son, David, Hutchinson; a daughter, Pam Rush, Salina; a sister, Fayetta Moline, Lincoln, Neb.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Capstick in 2009.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Norton United Methodist Church, Norton; burial in Norton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, both at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community or Norton United Methodist Church in care of Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
