Carlisle E. Thompson, 81, Glade, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at his home.

He was born March 12, 1932, in Phillipsburg to Carlisle E. and Ramah C. (Siegrist) Thompson.

He married Dianne L. Dreyer on Dec. 31, 1954, in Tucson, Ariz. She preceded him in death Feb. 3, 2012.

Survivors include two sons, Richard, Phillipsburg, and James, Glade; two daughters, Sheary Fulghum, Glade, and Sandra Redinger, Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, Leland and Gale Ewing, both of Phillipsburg, Roger Thompson, Chapman, and Doug Thompson, Abilene; a sister, Linda Lowry, Branson, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Forrest Ewing.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Marvin Cemetery, Glade, with military honors by U.S Air Force.

Friends can sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services Inc. in care of the funeral home.
