Carol Ann Young
Carol Ann Young, 72, Littleton, Colo., died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at Denver Hospice, Aurora, Colo.
She was born Feb. 20, 1936, in Hays to Lawrence and Stella (Schmidt) Riedel. She attended Girls Catholic High School in Hays.
She worked at Sheriff's Depo, Arapohee County, Colo.
Survivors include her husband, Carl M. Young Jr., of the home; a son, Rick L. Young and wife, Cindy, Parker, Colo.; two daughters, Sandra Kraft and husband, Larry, Saratoga, Wyo., and Susan Yoshimura and husband, Wayne, Maui, Hawaii; a brother, Gerry Riedel, Parker; two sisters, JoAnn Johnson and husband, George, Loveland, Colo., and Marilyn Riedel, Aurora; two sister-in-laws, Jan Walker and husband, Wally, Parker, and Jean McMurry and husband, Regis, Little Rock, Ark.; four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; three aunts, Alice Rohleder, Westminster, Calif., Zelma Vonfeldt, Aurora, and Harriet Wasinger, Hays; and many cousins.
Services were Saturday at Drink Wine Mortuary, Littleton; inurnment will be at a later date.
