Carol H. Peterson, 86, Alton, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.
He was born April 23, 1926, in Osborne County to Lloyd and Mildred (Bales) Peterson.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (Stroup) Peterson, of the home; three sons, Ron Peterson and Bill Peterson, both of Alton, and Dennis Peterson, Hays; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Ayr Friends Church, Alton; burial in Mount Ayr Cemetery, Alton.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne.
Memorials are suggested to the church in care of the funeral home.
