Carol Jo Gokey Long, 71, Buffalo, Okla., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1938, in Buffalo to Harold Oliver Olmstead and Reai Juanita Messenger.
She married Clarence Long on Feb. 13, 1993, in Buffalo.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Dana Jo Stanton, Hays, and Tracie Bouziden, Waynoka, Okla.; three step-daughters, Susan Mitchell and Brigette McGarrah, both of Oklahoma City, and Tricia Cole, Muskogee, Okla.; two brothers, Bill Olmstead, Buffalo, and Howard Olmstead, Elk City, Okla.; two sisters, Juanita Snow, Okmulgee, and Ruby Stout, Woodward, Okla.; and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Adam Gokey Jr., and a brother, Harold Jay Olmstead.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Christain Church, Buffalo.
Memorials are suggested to Buffalo First Christian Church or American Diabetes Association in care of Myatt Funeral Home, Buffalo.
