Carolyn Kay Hinger

Carolyn Kay Hinger, 70, Plainville, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in Hays.

She was born Nov. 13, 1943, in Iola to Thomas and Mary Lorine (Hester) Church.

She married Jerry Hinger on March 27, 1961, in Lone Elm. He preceded her in death. She was a retail clerk.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Hinger, Natoma, and Sean Hinger, Plainville; two brothers, Fred Church, Iola, and Steve Church, Kenyon, Minn.; a sister, Jean Smith, Carlisle, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Shiloh Cemetery, Codell.

Memorials are suggested to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Fisher House Foundation in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 SW Second St. Plainville, KS 67663.
