Carrol D. "Ramblin' Andy" Anderson, 84, Hill City, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.

He was born Aug. 23, 1929, in rural Graham County to Everett Avon and Velma May (Charles) Anderson.

He married Betty Martin on July 22, 1950. He later married Rita Penka on Dec. 29, 1978, in Hill City. He was a musician, known as "Ramblin' Andy."

Survivors include his wife, Hill City; six daughters, Dana Edwards and Delinda Edwards, both of Scott City, Debra Kirk, Overland Park, Denise Wishon, Topeka, Gina Cregg, Lawrence, and Pamela Keith, Hill City; a brother, Darrel Anderson, Hill City; two sisters, Rolleen Quiett, Hill City, and Jeanine Ray, Morland; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City; burial in Hill City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.

Memorials are suggested to the musical instrument fund for the music department at Hill City Grade School or Graham County Hospital in care of the funeral home.
