Catherine 'Cathy' Lee Reich

Catherine "Cathy" Lee Reich, 60, Buffalo, Minn., died Sunday, July 13, 2014.

She was born Sept. 22, 1953, in Seattle to Donald and Wilma Jean Blaske. In 1956, she and her brother, Wayne, were adopted and raised in Russell by John and Martha (Tews) Ulrich. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in English.

She married Michael Hillard Reich on Dec. 10, 1977. She taught school for 2.5 years and worked as a substitute teacher for many years.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Peter Reich, Aaron Reich, John Reich, Adam Reich and Paul Reich; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenfield, Minn.; burial in Salem Cemetery, Greenfield.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday, both at the church.

Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, Minn., is in charge of arrangements.
