Catherine Francis Leiker, 86, Hays, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society of Hays.

She was born April 9, 1926, in Hays to Peter M. and Josephine (Wasinger) Kuhn.

She married A.P. Leiker on May 9, 1944 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hays. He preceded her in death Sept. 29, 1997.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Senior Companions.

Survivors include four daughters, Norma Arnhold and Patricia Fisher and husband, Darrell, all of Hays, Susan Kosinski and husband, Robert, Huntsville, Ala., and Pam Leiker and fiancé, Dorne Middleton, Hoisington; a sister, Zelma Kuhn, Hays; a brother, Eugene Kuhn, Portland, Ore.; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Peter Leiker; a daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Smith; and a great-grandson, Myles Kosinski.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
