Charles A. Clermont
Charles A. "Hobo" Clermont, 66, Hays, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.
He was born Jan. 31, 1942, in Sterling, Colo., to Jay and Rose (Nab) Clermont.
He was a truck driver/laborer. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Survivors include three sons, Brian Clermont, Greeley, Colo., Scott Clermont and Justin Clermont, both of Hays; a daughter, Vickie Lehnhardt, Durango, Colo.; three step-daughters, Cherie Schmidt and Jody Hagan, both of Hays, and Deb Witt, Lexington, Neb.; a brother, Larry Vickers, Fort Morgan, Colo.; a sister, Hazel Wertz, Hastings, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays.
