Charlotte A. Morford

Charlotte A. Morford, 70, Hill City, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at her home.

She was born Nov. 30, 1937, in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to Lewis Eugene and Nelda Mae (Troutner) Shepard.

She married Lloyd Morford on Sept. 3, 1955, in Hill City. She was an insurance agent.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Tim Morford, Hill City; two daughters, Nelda Denise Young, Cambridge, Neb., and Connie Jo Scott, Littleton, Colo.; four brothers, Larry Shepard, Lenora, David Shepard, Norton, Steve Shepard, Quinter, and Kenny Shepard, Penokee; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Graham County Hospital Hospice in care of the funeral home.
