Cheryl A. Martin, 65, Hays, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 12, 1947, in Hays to Edgar J. and Erma Jean (McMullen) Sanders.

She was a retired certified nurse’s aide at Via Christi Medical Center, Wichita.

She enjoyed sewing, reading and genealogy.

Survivors include a son, Ryan Galydardt, Wichita; three brothers, Eddie Sanders, Houston, Ivan Sanders, Hays, and John Sanders, Park City; three sisters, Kathy Giebler, Hays, and Debbie Sanders and Ellen Morris, both of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Farrah Carrasco.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brock’s North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601, with a reception to follow at 400 Autumn Lane, Hays.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays Medical Center.
