Cheryl Ann Hoffman, 57, Russell, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 8, 1955, in Denver to William Henry and Edna (Dowd) Jones. She grew up in the Denver area and attended local schools.

She married Virgil R. "Bud" Hoffman on Feb. 11, 1984, in Cheyenne Wells, Colo. She was a certified nurse's assistant, working for Main Street Manor at Russell Regional Hospital for several years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Jeremy Misenhelter, WaKeeney, and Ray Hoffman, Denver; four daughters, Jennifer Hoffman, Hays, Paula Williamson, Craig, Colo., Cindy Hoffman, Valley, Wash., and Pam Hoffman, Colville, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepson, Tom Hoffman.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; scattering of the ashes will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Family and friends are invited to join for food and fellowship at the family's home in Hays immediately following the chapel service.
