Christopher Bleakley Agnew

Christopher Bleakley Agnew, 61, Chocowinity, N.C., died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at his home.

He was born Aug. 24, 1953, in Liberty, Mo., to David T. and Alice (Collis) Agnew. He was a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in business.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran for two years.

He was a member of AA and celebrated his sobriety for 30 years. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Chocowinity, N.C.

Survivors include his siblings, Tom Agnew, Vancouver, Wash., Virgil Agnew, Corvallis, Ore., Josephine Agnew-Tally, Kansas City, Mo., Beth Agnew, Bloomington, Ind., and Mary Agnew, Marietta, Ga.; five nieces; six nephews; two great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
