Cleo Elder, 91, Osborne, formerly of Stockton, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Parkview Care Center, Osborne.

He was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Ash Rock Community in rural Rooks County to Charles Lafayette and Rachel Elizabeth "Kinion" Elder.

He married Pauline Elder on June 20, 1946, in Osborne. She preceded him in death Dec. 5, 1994. He later married Dorothy Elder on Sept. 25, 1996, at Webster Lake. She preceded him in death Sept. 17, 2007.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Elder "Delores," Woodbridge, Va., and Dr. Richard Elder, Alexandria, La.; two daughters, Sharon Minton "John," England, Ark., and Paula Elder, Hays; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhonda Lee Elder.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton; burial in Norton City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday with registration book available from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Parkview Care Center in care of the funeral home.
