Ruth Clara (Williams) Colhour
Ruth Clara (Williams) Colhour, 93, Russell, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at Russell Regional Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1915, near Russell to William E. and Mary Marie (Mohl) Williams. She graduated from Russell High School.
She married Emmett Bruce Colhour on June 2, 1935 in Russell County. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2005. She was employed at Walizer Motor Company, Witchers Studio, Florence Sharp Dress Shop and Lewis/Marshall Jewelry Store, all in Russell.
Survivors include a son, Rev. Donald B. Colhour, Hollywood, Calif.; a daughter, Dianne Farmer, Russell; two grandsons; three step-grandchildren and 12 step- great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Congregational Church; burial in Russell City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
Memorials are suggested to First Congregational Church, or Russell County Area Community Foundation in care of the mortuary.
