Corrine Lois Willits, 79, Lawrence, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 6, 1934, in Waterville to Roy Lee and Pearl (Roepke) Reitzel.

She married Lowell Edmund Willits on July 27, 1952, in Barnes. He preceded her in death April 13, 1986. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Waterville. She worked at a nursing home in Hays and later was a certified nurse's aide at Presbyterian Manor, Lawrence.

She was a member of St. Margaret Episcopal Church and enjoyed doing church and community volunteer work.

Survivors include two sons, Barry and wife, Jean, Redondo Beach, Calif., and Calvin and wife, Tamara, Lawrence; six grandchildren, Chris Willits, Rachel Baird, Aaron Toyne, Brady Willits, Andrew Toyne and Jared Willits; four great-grandchildren; and a great-grandson on the way.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dan; and a daughter, Rae Lynn Willits.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret Episcopal Church; burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence.

Memorials are suggested to St. Margaret Episcopal Church in care of the mortuary.
