George R. Corsair, 77, Rush Center, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at his home.

He was born Aug. 19, 1932, to David Daniel and Marie Augustine (Riquier) Corsair in East Hartford, Conn. He was a bridge foreman in the construction industry.

Survivors include six sons, Scott Corsair, Bazine, David Corsair, Blackwell, Okla., Rex Corsair, Grand Junction, Colo., Rod Corsair and Kurt Corsair, both of Walsenburg, Colo., and Ward Corsair, La Crosse; three sisters, Jeanette Corsair, Mary MacDonald, and Louise Mather, all of East Hartford, Conn.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taryn Corsair; two brothers, David Corsair and James Corsair; and three sisters, Pauline Hoyt, Anna Corsair; and Catherine Corsair.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Locust Hill Cemetery, Rush Center.

Memorials are suggested to VFW Post No. 3147, La Crosse.

Arrangements are made by Janousek Funeral Home, 719 Pine, La Crosse.
