Courie Kae Cox, 12, Bazine, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at her home.

She was born Dec. 21, 2000, in Hays to Darrin and Rebecca (Foos) Cox. She was a sixth-grade student at Ness City Elementary School and a lifetime resident of Ness County.

Survivors include her parents; three sisters, Kaylee Cox and her son, Ethan, Ness City, Cassi Barnett, Hays, and Kinzi Cox, Bazine; her grandparents, Rick and Linda Cox, Hanston, and Fred and Karla Foos, Lamar, Mo.; and a great-grandmother, Wilma Drake, Ness City.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kason Foos; and an uncle, Justin Cox.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ness City; burial in Bazine Cemetery.

A viewing will be until 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Cox Educational Fund in care of the funeral home.
