Susan E. 'Boo' Craven

Susan E. "Boo" Craven, 62, Gorham, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Ellsworth Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 30, 1951, in Russell to Clarence Melvin and Levana (Mitchell) Craven. She grew up in Gorham and Russell area and attended school in Russell.

She was owner and operator of a Rental Cleaning Service for many years.

Survivors include her lifetime companion, Donny Acheson, of the home; two daughters, Tera Hardie and Cathi Pickens, both of Russell; two brothers, Melvin Craven and Kenny Craven, both all of Great Bend; a sister, Teri Helwer, Russell; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; private burial of ashes will follow at a later date.

Friends and family can sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Boo Craven Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
