Cynthia Kay Barnett Laborde, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, La.
She was a 1985 graduate of Dighton High School and attended Colby Community College.
She and her three sons moved to Cottonport, La., where she managed the Cottonwood Apartments and had a daycare.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Laborde, Cottonport; three sons, Spencer Chapin, Austin Atherton and Jordan Atherton, all of Cottonport; her parents, Paul and Karen Barnett, Dighton; two brothers, Darin Barnett and wife, Virginia, and their two daughters, Cassandra and Venessa, Artesia, N.M., and Brent Barnett and wife, Julie, and their children, Keatyn and Lexia; and a grandson, Tanner Chapin, Cottonport.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bayou Rouge Baptist Church; burial in the church cemetery.
