Dal Brean Schultz, 22, Grainfield, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

He was born June 30, 1992, in Hays to Douglas and Ronna (Adelhardt) Schultz. He was a 2010 graduate of Wheatland High School and attended Dodge City Community College, where he played football for a year.

He was a cattleman and started his own cattle operation and worked for the family farm.

He enjoyed outdoors, country living, hunting with Cas, teaching sports to Ty and Tyra, helping at the Lazy H Ranch, and his Catholic faith.

He was an Eagle Scout, third degree member of the Knights of Columbus and member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Cas, Ty and Tyra Schultz; and his grandparents, Donald and Louise Schultz, Grainfield, and Ronald and Patricia Adelhardt, Partridge.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Grainfield.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Agnes Education Center, Grainfield, with a vigil at 7:30 p.m. at the education center.

Memorials are suggested to Dal Schultz Memorial Fund in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
