Dallas Jane Hutchison, 57, Hays, formerly of Paradise, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Wheatland Nursing Center, Russell.

She was born March 15, 1956, in Russell to Jack L. and Ruth Jean (Caprez) Hutchison. She was a 1974 graduate of Paradise High School.

She worked in the student fiscal services department at Fort Hays State University in Hays for approximately 20 years.

Survivors include her mother, Paradise; a brother, John Ray "J.R." Hutchison, Quinter; and two sisters, Judith Tomei, Lawrence, and Jill Kerr, Paradise.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; private family burial of the cremains will take place immediately following the service at the mortuary.

An Order of the Eastern Star service also will be performed by Hays Chapter No. 228 O.E.S. on Thursday at the mortuary.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Order of the Eastern Star of Hays or Christian Women's After 5 Club of Hays in care of the mortuary.
