Darrell L. Morrissey, 83, Stockton, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Trego Manor, WaKeeney.

He was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Woodston to James Leroy and Nellie Jane (Jones) Morrissey.

He married Marilyn (Slayton) Morrissey on July 24, 1949, in Ulysses.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, Jeff Morrissey, Wamego, Pat Morrissey, Edmond, Okla., and Michael Morrissey, Pace, Fla.; a daughter, Pamela Davis, Dighton; a brother, Doug Morrissey, Salina; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Stockton; burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Stockton.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N. First, Stockton, KS 67669.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Knights of Columbus or St. Thomas Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
