David Coleman Fant, 78, Plainville, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at his home.

He was born Feb. 12, 1936, in Coleman, Texas, to Homer and Velma (Cohea) Fant.

He married Martha (Werner) Fant. She preceded him in death. He later married Joyce (Jenkins) Fant. She preceded him in death. He later married Fontella (Keller) Fant on July 4, 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Plainville; two sons, Marvin "Bobby" Werner, Midland, Texas, and Steve Werner, Odessa, Texas; a stepson, Ty Jennings, Montrose, Colo.; a stepdaughter, Thonda "TJ" Patrick, Hays; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Plainville Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to David Fant Memorial Fund in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 S.W. Second, Plainville, KS 67663.
