David G. Dinkel, 52, Hays, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Volga Street DSNWK Home, Hays.

He was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Hays to Hubert R. and Anna Louise (Leiker) Dinkel. He attended classes at DSNWK Reed Center in Hays.

He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.

He enjoyed watching baseball, playing card games and going out to eat with his family.

Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Agnes "Aggie" Wasinger and husband, Gerald "Jerry," Hays, Janet Goetz and husband, William "Bill," Wichita, and Joyce Dinkel, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; two nephews, Michael and Shaun Wasinger; and two nieces, Nicole and Megan Goetz.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert R. Dinkel on Aug. 20, 2012.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1805 Vine; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon to 2:15 p.m. Saturday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Developmental Services of Northwest Kansas, 2703 Hall, Hays, KS 67601.
