David McDougal, 65, Alpine, Calif., died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at his home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1946, in San Diego.
He married Lee (Joy) in Hays.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel McDougal; a daughter, Jamie Van Clay and husband, David; a sister, Donna Schoolcraft; and four grandsons, Daniel McDougal II, Hayden VanClay, Gage VanClay and Ryder VanClay.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Robbins Center-Vogel Patio area on the Fort Hays Sate University campus; inurnment will be in Fort Hays Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hays.
