Delores “Jean” Kroeger, 81, WaKeeney, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, WaKeeney.

She was born June 11, 1931, in Sharon Springs to Addison Bolen and Zella (Huffman) Dorzweiler.

She married Ehrenfried “Ernie” Kroeger on Dec. 29, 1947, in Ellis.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; four daughters, Sandra Schoenberger, Mankato, Debra Eveleigh, Norton, Wanda Kroeger, WaKeeney, and Raelene Stoecklein, Garden City; a brother, Edwin Dorzweiler, North Platte, Neb.; three sisters, Adeline Rupp, Lochbie, Colo., Mary Graham, Tucson, Ariz., and Judy Stricker, Chester, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Addison Bolen and Zella & Edwin Dorzweiler; and a sister, Irene Walker.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney; inurnment in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, WaKeeney.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Eagles Lodge, WaKeeney.

There will be no visitation.

A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church.
