Derek Dreiling, 45, Allen, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Baylor Hospital, Plano, Texas.
He was born March 9, 1964, in Denver to Nancy (Wheaton) and Charles Dreiling. He attended Lake Highlands High School, Richland College and University of North Texas.
He spent the majority of his career with McGraw Hill Publishing.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nancy and Bill Mowery, Centennial, Colo.; his father, Charles Dreiling, Victoria; a brother, Devin Dreiling and wife, Jeannie; a step-niece, Kaitlyn, Dallas; two sisters, Tami Robben and husband, Jake, and Debbie, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; three nieces, Isabel, Maggie and Caroline, Hays; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services were Oct. 15, at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas.
