Derion Lee Herl, 40, Salina died Aug. 13, 2008.

He was born Jan. 18, 1968, in Great Bend.

He was a restaurant chef.

Survivors include four daughters, Tiffany Bishop and husband, Donald, Shana Vaquera and husband, Jose, and Shawna Herl, all of Salina, and Amber Lamar and husband, Steve, Kearney, Neb.; his parents, Donald Lee and Henrietta (Huser) Herl, Salina; a brother, Brannon Herl and wife, Michelle, Dallas; three sisters, Kimberly Jackson and fiancée, Burt Simpson, and Danna Armes and husband, Frank, all of Salina, and Jody Imler, Topeka; five grandchildren, Donald, Christopher, MeKaylah, Gretchen and Kayleigh.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the mortuary.
