Dolores L. Tremblay, 82, Hays, formerly of WaKeeney, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Kearny County Hospital, Lakin.

She was born June 26, 1932, in rural Victoria to Joseph and Salomia (Rohleder) Dinkel. She was a 1950 graduate of Victoria High School.

She married Leo E. Tremblay on Jan. 13, 1962, in Hays. He preceded her in death in 2008. She was a data clerk for Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital until retirement in 1994.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney, Altar Society Christian Mothers, the Red Hats and the TCLMH Auxiliary, all of WaKeeney.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, going to auctions and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

Survivors include two daughters, Jenifer Munoz and husband, Jesus, St. Robert, Mo., and Julie Dinkel and husband, Mark, Garden City; four sisters, Lily Meier and Mary Ann Doerfler, Hays, Joanne Steinert and husband, Sid, Munjor, and Darlene Pfannenstiel, Shawnee Mission; seven grandchildren, Ellie Stansbury and husband, Shaun, Gretchen Albert, Kaitlin Albert, Nicholas Munoz, Alexander Munoz, Seth Dinkel and Sally Dinkel; a son-in-law, Jeff Albert, Smith Center; and a sister-in-law, Peggy Dinkel, Englewood, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Joan Albert; a brother, Kenneth Dinkel; and a sister, Patricia Brungardt.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Trego County Walkathon for Health or Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home in care of the funeral home.
